Midi skirts are one of my favs now, no doubt about that. And having this in one of my favorite colour, maroon, from Threads In Niche makes it even better! I really like how midi skirts accentuates the waistline. If you have a heavy bottom (wide hips and flabby thighs) like me, the midi skirts have to be your best friend this season. These lovelies are excellent at hiding your heavy bottoms and drawing attention to the top.
Needless to say, you have to pair it with a crop top. Nothing else works better than this combination. It could be a tube top, bralet (like mine), or even a basic crop top. You can play with designs if you're going for a plain but classy midi skirt like the one I'm wearing. But as you can see (and in case you haven't realized), I'm a huge fan of the colour black, and hence, the colour of my bralet. Midi skirts goes best with heels or wedges. You can go with sandals too, but it's not easy to pull that off.

And yes, if your eyes are sharp enough, you would have noticed that I've been gaining weight, sigh. It's hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle, eating healthily and exercising frequently now. But stay close, I'll be sharing how I keep myself (and my weight) organised in the midst of this chaos!
