TAIWAN 1

We arrived in the evening on the 5th, and after checking into our hotel, we rushed down to the nearby night market for some Taiwanese street food and shopping!

The very famous 臭豆腐, also known as stinky tofu or fermented tofu! Don't think this is the first time eating this, but it was meh /: The odour was alright. Wasn't that strong, but it didn't taste that great either, in my opinion.

Some random food shots.

Not a fan of squids or octopuses, but these looked extremely juicy and delish.

Yes yes, I know fries are not an authentic Taiwanese street food, but I was craving for them and yeap. The spicy Thai sauce was amazeballs hehe.

I'm salivating by just looking at this oh god.

Couldn't resist it though we were already very very full from all that snacking earlier on. Von got a chocolate eclair and I got a caramel one!

Usually I'll just get anything chocolate without a single bit of hesitation. But because the pastry chef recommended the caramel one as the best seller, I had to give it a try right? And not to mention, eclairs are super super cheap compared to Sg's eclairs and they are much bigger in size too.

And then..... We got ice cream too HAHAHA. #fatpigsforlife
Didn't get to take photos of everything we ate that night cause before we realised we didn't take photo, the food were all in our tummies already.

Saw this while shopping but honestly, who would buy this?! Really, who?!

Car #selfie

Here's what happens when we tried to take a wefie in the car. Every time (well, almost). Every time Von picked up her camera to take a wefie, we'd either enter a tunnel (where the lighting is super horrible like that in the photo), or the car'd get super jerky. I guess the jerky part was mainly because we were travel up and down mountains most of the trip, so uneven roads are inevitable. BUT THEN AGAIN. It was just THAT coincidental. Sigh.

The Sun Moon Lake, 日月潭.

The most delicious 茶叶蛋 I've ever eaten! I was never a fan of hard boil eggs, and this tasted so incredible. I just can't, guys. I just can't.

Yum yum, gelato heaven hehe.

Can't remember what exactly were these two flavours, but if I'm not wrong, it was dark chocolate, and the other was orange and some veg flavoured. Wanted to get both chocolate, cause you know. I'm just that into chocolate, but wanted to try something new and different, so yeap. The orange and veg one sounds pretty gross right? I know. But it was really nice though. Singapore should totally have this, man!

This was literally heaven in my mouth!!!! But Royce's still my fav

Into the meh meh farm we go!

Can't get over how cute this little pony is!

What happens with you fail to pose properly. You get an ugly photo of yourself. And you get judged by your best friend.

So..... After getting off the pumpkin carriage, my foot got scratched at the back. Don't know how, it just happened. And here we have, our lovely Von applying plaster to my wound hehe.

Our first and only shot together (apart from wefies, that is).

Some #foodporn pics from dinner that day.

Part 2 will be up soon hehe.

Love, Chloe
